Your first family practice
Use your scorecard to choose a starting point together. You do not need to work on every skill at once.
Ask: “Which of these could you do on your own? Where would you want help?” Treat different answers as the beginning of a conversation.
Choose a skill your child wants or needs to practice. Agree on what finished looks like and what support is available.
Make room to practice this week. Ask what worked, what was difficult and what they would try differently.
Plan one family meal together: choose the recipe, list what you already have, estimate the grocery cost and divide the work. An adult handles any shopping, tools or cooking that requires supervision.
