Privacy Notice

How PreppedKids LLC handles information on this website and in its digital-resource shop.

Who this website is for

The website, forms and shop are for adults, including parents and guardians. Our resources support parent-led activities for ages 8–19; this website does not offer child accounts. Do not submit a child's name, email, birth date, school, health information or other identifying or sensitive details through our forms.

Information we receive

Some free-resource requests are also recorded as customer leads in Stripe. A resource request or purchase does not by itself subscribe you to marketing.

Why we use it

We use information to deliver requested resources, confirm orders, provide support, maintain payment and consent records, protect the website, run parent research and manage pilot interest. If you choose optional marketing updates, we may send family resources and PreppedKids news. Research permission and marketing permission are separate choices.

Who processes information

We use service providers for website hosting and security (Vercel), private records (Supabase), payment processing and lead records (Stripe), and email delivery and consented contact management (Resend). We also use Google-hosted fonts; loading them connects your browser to Google's font servers. Providers process information to support their services under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently add advertising pixels or third-party behavioral advertising scripts to this website. Necessary payment, security or hosting technologies may use cookies or similar mechanisms.

We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect people or our rights, or in a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. We do not publish individual research responses as testimonials without permission.

Your choices and requests

Marketing permission is optional and unchecked by default. You can receive the free scorecard without it. Use the unsubscribe option in a marketing email, or email hello@preppedkids.com to withdraw marketing permission. We may still send requested resources, receipts, support replies or other necessary service messages.

You may ask to access, correct, receive a copy of or delete your information, or ask questions about its use, by emailing us. We will assess your request under applicable law, verify identity as reasonably needed, and explain any information we must retain or request we cannot fulfill. If you disagree with a privacy-request decision, reply to request a review. Never send a full card number or identity document with your initial request.

Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including delivery, support, research, consent choices, accounting and legal obligations. Some records may remain in backups until those backups cycle out. A minimal suppression record may be retained to honor an unsubscribe request. We use access restrictions and other safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Children's information

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through these adult-facing forms. If you believe a child provided it, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Any future service that collects information directly from children will require a separate privacy and consent process before it launches.

Links, location and updates

Other websites have their own privacy practices. Our providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate. We will update this notice as our practices change and show the effective date; additional notice will be provided when required.

Campaign measurement and parent testing

We record limited campaign labels, page paths, and events such as a page visit, scorecard request, checkout opened, verified purchase, or share action. These counts do not identify unique visitors or prove a recommendation was delivered. This measurement does not store email addresses, IP addresses, cookies, or persistent browser identifiers in the event table. Your browser may keep a campaign label and page-count flags for the current tab session. Forms and order records remain separate and may include a campaign label. Parent testing responses are used for research and tester contact. Marketing permission is optional. We ask for approval of the exact quote and attribution before publishing feedback.

Parent Voices research

The proposed Parent Voices v3 study has separate optional contact choices and referral-session tracking. See the research privacy notice for the preview details. Earlier forms retain their original consent versions.
