What this study collects

We ask adults about their role, state, broad age groups, everyday concerns, resources and support preferences. Do not provide children's names, birthdates, schools, addresses, diagnoses or private records. Participation is voluntary; contact information and promotional emails are optional. Under-18 respondents should not continue.

Contact information stays separate

If you give your name and email, we store them separately from research answers and connect them through an internal ID. These linked records are confidential, not fully anonymous. Interview permission, testing permission and launch-update permission are recorded separately with their wording version and time. Research participation does not subscribe you to updates. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails without withdrawing research participation.

Referrals and cookies

A first-party, signed, HttpOnly cookie remembers your survey session for up to 30 days. It helps preserve the first valid approved partner referral across pages and avoid repeat submissions. Partner links and QR variants tell us which link brought participation; they do not prove who distributed it or that a physical QR scan occurred. We record a session landing, first interaction and saved completion. We do not use device fingerprinting. Short-lived keyed network hashes help limit automated requests; raw IP addresses are not stored in the research tables.

How answers are used

Authorized PreppedKids staff use responses for customer research and product decisions. Reports for investors contain aggregate results, with small-group counts suppressed, and exclude names, emails, contact records and individual written answers. We do not sell these research answers or publish identifiable quotations without separate permission. This study is customer discovery, not a representative national poll. Interest is not a purchase commitment.

Service providers and security

Vercel hosts the website and server functions. Supabase stores research and authentication records. Resend supports approved account emails and opted-in communications. Providers may process their own operational logs as explained in our main notice. Access to raw research is restricted. No security method guarantees protection against every risk.

Retention and deletion

We review research and associated contact records within 24 months and retain them longer only for a documented purpose. Otherwise we delete them or keep only irreversible aggregate results. We review abuse-control records after seven days and remove them when no longer needed for security. Survey session cookies expire after 30 days. Marketing suppression information may remain where necessary to honor your choices. Our production database plan retains daily backups for seven days. Deleted information may remain in those backups until they expire. If a backup is restored, completed deletion requests and marketing opt-outs must be reapplied before normal processing resumes. Legal obligations may require limited records to be retained longer.

Save the private receipt shown after submission. Its response ID and secret code let you request deletion without supplying an email. If you provided an email, you may also contact hello@preppedkids.com for access, correction, withdrawal, deletion or an appeal. We will verify requests proportionately. Removing contact information may leave previously published, non-identifying aggregate reports unchanged.
